I won't get to read this in class, but who cares, I just need this feeling of closure. Maddie is litty. Agenda  BLOG - Correcttions  collect trip slips  10 Things  Last letters...  HW- field day tomorrow!  Ms. Nakada emphasizes the idea of our last assignment, I will really miss her but Bruno's screams I will not. I'm not done with my letter to my future self, I've rewritten it a bunch of times. Most of it is me making sure I don't become a freaking marine biologist.  REASONS WHY NOT TO BECOME A MARINE BIOLOGIST - Too many marine biologist, not enough good presidents  - Math Ms. Nakada attempts to read a letter she wrote to our grade but it's proving really difficult because our class sucks. I will miss us until I form a close bond with my ninth grade English class. Will it be a hate bond or a love bond? I've begun reading the letter myself, everyone is taking to long. Oh wait, spoke too soon, Ms. Nakada begins to read

Thanks a lot, Charlotte..........you just had to..... Just saying, there's gonna be a lot of mistakes.... Agenda Blog Corrections Collect Trip Slips H.S / College planning Letter to your future self HW~ Letters due tomorrow We all walk into class, sit down, and write down the agenda. After that, Charlotte reads her blog and she has no mistakes. Good job, Charlotte. Anyways, Veronica and Bruno yell at Charlotte to choose them. Most people said to choose Veronica, but Charlotte didn't choose either of them. Ms. Nakada got mad at students for asking each other to sign their yearbooks. Good job. Now, Ms. Nakada is talking about the high school and college planning thing, GPAs, and APs. Some schools rank their students by GPA and the top 10% are most likely to go to UC schools. Now, Ms. Nakada is talking about some clubs that you could join in high school. ..........I just heard Fornite Club............wow Ryan................. Yay, now we have to write a letter t

Happy second to last week of school! AGENDA blog corrections Last Q&Q H.S./ college planning Letter to your future self HW: Field day trip slips due tomorrow! We corrected Mirae's blog, which had a couple of mistakes. I will try my best to make no mistakes, but, if we're being realistic, how high of a chance is it that we'll fit in another pizza party before school is over? We are doing are last question and quote of the school year. Our quote is: "Self-praise is for losers. Be a winner. Stand for something. Always have class and be humble." - John Madden Chaos ensues. Oh no. I had a full blog, but the rest got deleted. I will do my best to reconstruct what I wrote today. We had a big argument about this quote and whether or not self-praise was the same as self-love or self-confidence or if it was conceited to praise yourself. Our question of the week is: How have you changed/grown in the past three years? We then go to collegeresults.org,

I thought that Veronica was going to be doing the blog, but I was chosen instead. Disclaimer: Veronica's going next.  AGENDA Blog corrections 10 year plan H.S. success Letter to your future self HW  Field day trip slips! Ok, so, I guess I should start with the fact that Gabe has hand mouth foot(?) virus, and may have passed it on to half of period 4 when he was giving everyone high fives yesterday. No wonder I felt a bit sick this morning. I realize that no one's been writing much about what we actually do in class. I'm not gonna start now, but I guess I'll write about some things. Ms. Nakada tells us that we're doing our 10 year plans. Which I'm not gonna do because I'm writing this blog. Thanks to someone. Ayden starts singing something and has a voice crack. He starts harassing Conlan again, and ends up ripping one of the pages in his journal. Good job, Ayden. He looks oblivious as to what's going on right now. I honestly don

Let us please have a moment of silence for our lost comrade Greg.......... I stand in the firmest affirmation of the resolution that Willa's cats are superior to Thor's cats. Agenda Blog-corrections O.O. prewrite 10 year plan HW-RJ 19.3 War Lit 15-20 pages Ayden hasn't greeted me yet. What a jerk. The first thing I hear is Veronica singing the farmers only dating site song. Ms. Nakada is talking about the kid who did a speech about bacteria and soap. Veronica says she hates this girl. Salty kid. Bruno is talking to Thor. SHUT UP YOU INTERRUPTING PSYCHOS!!!!!! I apologize for my earlier outburst. O.O? More like no O! Gotta love your delivery pizza. At least, that's what a kid who got into Yale wrote an essay about. Delivery or Digiorno's? I BLESS THE RAIN DOWN IN AFRICA!!!!!!!!!!!  Anyway, the girl's essay was about "a cheesy circular glory." Everyone is clapping and Ayden is asleep. I think I'll write about a cool dude in this ver

Hello, younglings. Let's get bracking.  Agenda:  BLOG; corrections AMND War Lit O.O. / A.R. HW: RJ 18.4 15-20 pages of war lit. Abril is bothering me. Ugh, bothersome Abril.  Now, Ms. Nakada is saying some emotional speech or whatever, beginning with a candid background and fade into analytical existentialism with some emotional quote. Classic "This Is Us" corruption. I saw this ad for "This Is Us" and it almost made me cry, even though it was like two minutes long and I have no prior emotional investment in the characters lives. Ms. Nakada's speech keeps going. I know it's touching because she cited like three poems and Ayden likes it, and she is using that silky tone she uses when she reads deep poetry, but I wasn't really listening. Mostly writing about "This Is Us." Shosh in yelling at me. Ayden is saying "Hey." I'm failing to live in the moment, mostly just writing about things that happened wh

Hello. This is my last blog, and I'm conflicted about what I'm feeling. On one hand, this class is fun, and probably my favorite. On the other hand, I would rather be sleeping. We started this morning like every other. Except, today we are missing a bunch of people, because they are at the  A Midsummer Night's Dream rehearsal. Agenda Blog Corrections A Midsummer Night's Dream Reader's Workshop HW: RJ 18.3 Read 15-20 pages of War Lit. Shoshana and Veronica are passing out our poetry collections. Hannah and Delaney are passing out our portfolios. Ayden is whacking me with each thing he gets passed back. Ms. Nakada is passing out A Midsummer Night's Dream worksheets/excerpts. Ms. Nakada tells the class to turn to page 33 in our english notebooks, titled " A Midsummer Night's Dream ". This page just lists of Shakespeare plays and their morals/plots. I will enter a picture of Shoshana's page right here. I have ugly fingers. I'm

Yasin tried to pick Chris, but I went up instead because it was a short day. AGENDA BLOG corrections war lit: civilian or soldier reader's workshop HW: RJ 18.2 15-20 p. of war literature      I started the period trying to get the stupid acid song out of my head. It was almost as bad as the covalent bond video. The atom was singing Christmas carols. Also, the boy's soccer ball goes into a space ships, he makes a world changing discovery that atoms can talk, and he want to get his soccer ball and leave. Such incompetents. Why would he just be punting a soccer ball in the first place. That entire video just made me mad.      Bridget had to spit out her gum for the billionth time, and she decided to swallow it. Then, we had to do an ACE on the protagonist in your war literature. The question was: Is the main character a civilian or a soldier?       Conlan and Ayden are conversing about how our 6th period teacher is brain dead and even though she circled everything o

Bueller, Bueller, Bueller, Bueller, Bueller, Bueller. Agenda Blog Corrections Q&Q 18 week grades Slam Finalists "Bueller, Bueller, Bueller, "He's not here." (awkward pause) Bueller. Alrighty then, After correcting the blog (Which was five minutes of cancer) we watched the opening to Ferris Bueller's Day Off.  The greatest movie of all time asides from Space Balls.  Which is surprisingly not a soft ***** but instead a Star Wars  rip off. The Q&Q are "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it"-Ferris Bueller       How can slowing down help you be more successful/efficient? I will no be answering these because I'm a bad writer, and will most likely end up messing it up. Finally, I can write freely. I wrote what we did in class and can now express the many thoughts in my head. First off, I'm not wearing my glasses because I threw them at the wall because of... Guess?

Thor's Rant on Brazil (Fifth Time on the Computer)

"Do you speak Brazilian?" Oi. I'm back. I'm actually gonna write the agenda this time. Here it is below. BLOG - corrections 30 poems read ✔ War lit.: pro or anti? Reader's workshop HW -  FINAL DE SEMANA! So Ben (the one with the N in their last name) chose me. We (me and Frenchman) were not prepared. I even used my skip card, but Greg used his imaginary +4 card and changed the color to Brazil (??????). So, I succumbed. And here I am. The kids (Greg, Ben, Ben, Koen) read their bajillion minute long poem about everything that happened in our times at Emerson (and the things that happened outside of it, if you know what I mean). Some others read their poems and stuff, but let's not get onto that. I'm going to go into the subject of today;  BRAZIL. And now, the appropriate text color change. That's more like it. Alrighty, so here we go. I'm this shade of green, and  Bruno is this shade.  I've been pissing

Bruno, you are despicable. I would not be upset if you fell in an open manhole, and then got eaten by hungry lions. Agenda Blog - Corrections Slam Prep Poetry SLAM HW: RJ 17.4 Bruno deleted my blog yesterday. Darn him. Now we have to practice our Poetry SLAM, so that's what I'll do. Our poem puts the SLAM in Poetry SLAM. Ok our practice is done, the poetry SLAM is starting. First to go up are Hannah and Shoshana, with a response poem to "We Real Cool" by Gwendolyne Brooks. Now it's Chris and Yasin, with a Fortnite poem. Now Willa is coming up to do her poem. She's stalling, of course. Oh finally she started. Okay, Brandon just did his poem, about Fortnite. Somehow I feel like this will not be the last Fortnite poem of the day. Our group may have a problem, since our poem is very long. Like 8-10 minutes long. Guess what the next poem was about. Fortnite. Of course. Ayden, Conlan, and Ryan are talking about high s

Everyone is telling me not to make any mistakes or anything on this blog so we can have a pizza party. I mean, no pressure, right? Agenda Blog · Corrections War Lit. Setting OPEN MIC Collection Collection Homework: RJ 17.2 (15-20 pages from your War Lit. book) Everyone walks into class and writes down the agenda. Last time I wrote the blog, I complained about our ritual of writing down the agenda, which didn't go so well. I promise not to do that again (probably).  We correct Jose's blog, which has no mistakes. This places a lot of pressure on me, because I need a point to get pizza. Way to go, Jose (that was both sarcastic and to congratulate you). After we finish the blog, we jump straight into our War Lit. activity. I am reading  The Book Thief.  It is a great book, but also very confusing sometimes. I mean, its from the perspective of death!  In the activity, we do A.C.E to find out how World War 2 is introduced into our respective books. In

Agenda Blog Corrections Q & Q Open Mic War Literature Homework RJ 17.1 15-20 pages of war literature Poem Collections due tomorrow Conlan's blog was relatively clean of corrections, contrary to his belief when reading blog. Who is Pablo Neruda? He apparently wrote our quote of the week, which is about poetry.  The quote of the week is: "Poetry is an act of peace." Interesting. Ms. Nakada tells us that quoting people is useful for writing an essay??? Somewhat confused, but that's not important right now. We complete the question of the week, which is: to what extent can a test reveal what you truly know/don't know, and some people answer aloud. Ayden says it can't, and rants about Dillmore's quiz about a triangle and the Pythagorean Theorem. Surprising. Do you want to know what's not surprising? The fact that this resembles a Geico ad very closely. Veronica explains how to study (this is about the question of the
