HW: RJ 17.4

Bruno deleted my blog yesterday. Darn him.

Now we have to practice our Poetry SLAM, so that's what I'll do. Our poem puts the SLAM in Poetry SLAM.

Ok our practice is done, the poetry SLAM is starting.

First to go up are Hannah and Shoshana, with a response poem to "We Real Cool" by Gwendolyne Brooks. Now it's Chris and Yasin, with a Fortnite poem.

Now Willa is coming up to do her poem. She's stalling, of course. Oh finally she started.

Okay, Brandon just did his poem, about Fortnite. Somehow I feel like this will not be the last Fortnite poem of the day.

Our group may have a problem, since our poem is very long. Like 8-10 minutes long.

Guess what the next poem was about. Fortnite. Of course.

Ayden, Conlan, and Ryan are talking about high schools.

Bruno is up with his poem, which is, of course, pessimistic. It's also, like, three lines long, so his intro is longer than his poem. Good job Bruno, really working hard.

Wow Mingus is really hyping up the class for his poem. I'm ready for this "visual masterpiece".

It was. It definitely was.

Everybody is laughing, but Ayden just looks dead inside.

Yay, we don't have to do our poetry today.

Ayden is acting like a crab.

Happy second to last week of school! AGENDA blog corrections Last Q&Q H.S./ college planning Letter to your future self HW: Field day trip slips due tomorrow! We corrected Mirae's blog, which had a couple of mistakes. I will try my best to make no mistakes, but, if we're being realistic, how high of a chance is it that we'll fit in another pizza party before school is over?
