So today started off with getting up at 6:30am (and it's 3:30am in Los Angeles). I got ready. Then, I went down stairs to go eat breakfast. Next, we got on the bus and headed off to the Arlington national memorial. We saw the graves of John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and the unknown soldiers just to name a few. Next, we go to the mall and eat lunch and do a little bit of shopping. Then, once again we got on the bus and went to Mount Vernon. We saw George Washington's country estate and a few animals there too. After that, we went to dinner. Once, we finished dinner we went on a ghost tour. It wasn't scary but, we were standing on dead people's grave. Then, we headed back to the hotel and it was a good day. Enjoy the photos I took! P.S. I miss all of you guys  P.P.S. Enjoy the picture of Kamyjah :)

I currently really hate Ms. Nakada for this. But it's fine. Agenda Blog- Corrections D.C. Blogs Reader's Workshop HW- R.J 11.2 15-30 So, I have no idea what I am going to do for the rest of these ten awful minutes. Maybe I should pull a Ryan and just give up and stop this whole blogging thing right about here. I do recall that didn't go all that well for Ryan, but I secretly know Ms. Nakada loves me, so I have high hopes. We are now correcting a blog. I don't know who's. It doesn't really matter. We are now talking about how some people really like the burgers in D.C., and then how some others didn't. Veronica points out how pretty much every blog mentions the infamous burgers, but no one shows a picture of them. We only have two more minutes, not that I'm counting down or anything. Ms. Nakada is planing a Women's History Month thingy idk. Okay, bye now!

It is the second day of adventuring in Washington DC, and it is fun. Today, we have already visited the Arlington cemetery and saw a very spectacular ceremony in change the honor guard. When we finished watching that, we then moved on to see where President JFK was buried. At his grave, we saw the eternal flame that will always be burning and will never go out. Then, we went back on the bus and drove to a very big mall. This mall must have been four stories and it had tons of shops.  Me and my friend got food and then started to explore the mall. We found a Vans store, and I decided to buy a new pair of Vans since my old ones had gotten too small. After I got my brand new shoes, we went down to where we were supposed to meet and leave. When we finally had everyone together, we got on the bus and left. When we got on the bus, the tour guide said that we were going to Mount Vernon; George Washington’s house. When we got there, it was very crowded because there had been many scho...

We started off the day by waking up at 6:30 to get breakfast. Everyone was dead and begging to go home. At around 8 we started off our day by having Bob (the best bus driver ever) drive us to our first stop. We first went to the Arlington National Cemetery.   Here we saw Audie Murphy's grave. People put coins on top of the gravestone as a sign of respect.   Next, we went for lunch. Bob took us to the mall. There, everyone ran around for 2 hours shopping, eating, or just walking around.   After lunch, we went to George Washington's house.   The view from his house was of an amazing lake. It was very pretty.   For dinner we went to a fish market. It was ok. I got pasta, but some people said that the burger wasn't good. After dinner, we had a ghost tour. It wasn't very scary. Most of it seemed fake.   We saw Washington's townhouse on the ghost tour as well.   So, that was basically our whole day and we are all ...

Hi! Hope you had fun and learned something  in school. Washington has been so much fun, especially the bus rides where we all sleep on each other. Karla, Shosh and I woke up and were half dead this morning. We get less than six hours of sleep at night and people prank call our hotel rooms, repeatedly *ahem Ben Goodman, Ryan, and Jeremy.* This morning, we drove all the way from Silver Spring, to Arlington, Virginia. Every place is far from our inn, but that’s fine, because bus rides give you time to take naps and sit on people.   The first thing we did was go to the Arlington National Cemetary. There were 250,000 tombstones there! We watched the Wreath Ceremony for the fallen unknown soldiers. Here is a picture of the “Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.” Next, we went to the Pentagram Mall for two hours. It was a nice mall, and people in Maryland are nice (for the most part). After that, we visited Mount Vermont and walked through George Washington’s home facing th...

Agenda Arlington National Cemetery Mount Vernon Estate, Gardens, and Mansion. Dinner: The Fish Market Legends of Alexander Ghost Tour Today, everyone woke up at their own time and went down for breakfast. After breakfast we all piled on the bus. First, we went to Arlington National Cemetery. On the bus ride the I toke a nap which was great. Once we got there we had a quick bathroom break and started our tour. We, walked around and looked at the graves. Then, we watched a changing of guard ceremony. Afterward we walked so many steps to get to see the best view of D.C. Instead of walking around to see the view everyone sat down. We walked down to see the John F. Kennedy memorial. Our driver Bob ( everyone loves Bob ) drove us to the mall for lunch. Since we had extra time we could walk around. Later, we went to Mount Vernon. Chad our tour guide led us the mansion that George Washington lived in. Chad told us that Washington died because when he got sick the d...

Today I tried to wake up only to find that I was literally dead. Like my eyes were fluttering because they literally wouldn’t open. Anyway, we slug out of bed and, me, being myself, have totally already lost my key card. Shhhhhh, don’t tell anyone.  Anyway, my corpse took the elevator down to breakfast, which was bacon and eggs, but my nutritiously amazing self ate a box of Apple Jacks instead, because Apple Jacks>Fruit Loops.  We boarded this amazing bus, with an amazing driver that we’ve all come to know and love, what an icon. Bob, the legend, the fable. I sit next to Abril. Ben is across the way. He is really bad. Yesterday, he tried to lure Abril away with card games and portable chargers.   Our destination is the Arlington Cemetery, which is filled with these bright white graves and a colossal amphitheater, where a bunch of soldiers who pretend not to have souls march around and scream. We watch them glide around with muskets and sunglasses for a flat ha...
