Dinner: The Fish Market
Legends of Alexander Ghost Tour
Today, everyone woke up at their own time and went down for breakfast. After breakfast we all piled on the bus. First, we went to Arlington National Cemetery. On the bus ride the I toke a nap which was great. Once we got there we had a quick bathroom break and started our tour.
We, walked around and looked at the graves. Then, we watched a changing of guard ceremony.
Afterward we walked so many steps to get to see the best view of D.C. Instead of walking around to see the view everyone sat down.
We walked down to see the John F. Kennedy memorial. Our driver Bob ( everyone loves Bob ) drove us to the mall for lunch. Since we had extra time we could walk around. Later, we went to Mount Vernon. Chad our tour guide led us the mansion that George Washington lived in. Chad told us that Washington died because when he got sick the doctor took blood out of him 4 times!
This one if the guest bedroom in the mansion.
Then we walked around and saw where he was buried. Chad then let us go to the exhibit. But first, we watched a 25 minute video. In the exhibit on of the cool things was Washington’s teeth.
Rhiana and I ran to the bus because we wanted the seats all to ourselves, but that didn’t happen. Bob took us to our restaurant which was called the fish market. After, dinner we had the ghost tour. I forgot all the stories they tour guide told us.
The ghost tour was fun and finally over and our favorite person, Bob took us back to the hotel. Everyone was happy. Since I didn’t have anything to do I FaceTimed Tru to pass time. That’s all we did today. Tomorrow’s a new day to explore!
