Shosh's DC Blog
Today we went to a bunch of
museums and picture spots. My personal favorite was the African America History
Museum. We were there for an hour. There were four floors and you were to start
at the bottom and work your way up through history of African Americans.
Somewhere in this email I attached a picture of Thomas Jefferson and each brick
represent each slave he owned, totaling to 609, including 6 of his own
children.

We also went to the Smithsonian,
I think that’s how to spell it. We had about a hour and a half to roam freely
so, Jessica, Karla, and I went to a butterfly exhibit.
The rest of our day consisted of
American History Musuem, the White House, and Lincoln and Roosevelt memorials.
Our bus driver is Bob and he’s very nice, because according to Chad (our tour
guide) he is stopping illegally for us so we don’t have to walk as much.
Currently, it is 5:19 and we are eating a Nando’s. They didn’t order vegetarian
options so now we are doing that. That’s it for this blog, bye!
